In June last year, Kisumu County Assembly passed the Kisumu County Revenue Administration Amendment Bill (2022) that established the Kisumu County Revenue Board as a semi-autonomous agency akin to the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) – to take over revenue collection in the County.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Assembly’s Select Committee on Appointment will tomorrow ( Friday 19th May, 2023) vet Dr. Hezron Mc’Obewa, nominee to the position of Chairperson, Kisumu County Revenue Board at 10.00 a.m.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

If approved by the House, Dr Mc’Obewa will lead this agency mandated to conduct revenue mapping and collection in the
