Directorate of Finance and Accounting Services

Manages and controls the financial and accounting affairs of the County Assembly. Its mandate includes financial planning and budgeting; preparation of the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF); expenditure forecasting, monitoring and control; efficient allocation and utilization of financial resources; accounting for Assembly funds, assets, revenue and expenditure; cash-flow and cost analysis; financial reporting; implementation of financial policies, standards and controls; and ensuring compliance with the Public Finance Management Act and other applicable financial laws and regulations.
