Directorate of Legislative, Procedural and Committee Services

Provides legislative, procedural and committee support to the County Assembly. Its mandate covers procedural advice to the Speaker, Presiding Officers and Members; orderly processing of House business; drafting and processing of Bills, Motions and Statements; facilitation and administration of Assembly Committees; legislative and procedural research; recording and marshalling of Assembly decisions and proceedings; public participation and stakeholder engagement; and support for committee and plenary operations.
