VETTING OF NOMINEE TO THE POSITION OF CHAIRPERSON, KISUMU COUNTY REVENUE BOARD

Description
In June last year, Kisumu County Assembly passed the Kisumu County Revenue Administration Amendment Bill (2022) that established the Kisumu County Revenue Board as a semi-autonomous agency akin to the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) – to take over revenue collection in the County.
The Assembly’s Select Committee on Appointment will tomorrow ( Friday 19th May, 2023) vet Dr. Hezron Mc’Obewa, nominee to the position of Chairperson, Kisumu County Revenue Board at 10.00 a.m.
If approved by the House, Dr Mc’Obewa will lead this agency mandated to conduct revenue mapping and collection in the County.
