An induction workshop for Members of the 3rd Assembly kicked off today 1st October, 2022 in Mombasa County.

The Members are being taken through the operations and procedures of the Assembly. This is expected to equip them with tools to effectively execute their mandate.

The Members are also set to interact with officers from various Statutory bodies such as Office of the Auditor General, Ethics and Anti -Corruption Commission, Office of the Controller of Budget, Salaries and Remuneration Commission, among others.

Kisumu County Assembly Members have buried the hatchet and vowed to work together to deliver on their mandate of legislation, representation and oversight.

On the 1st day if the Induction workshop in Mombasa, the Members shared their experiences as they highlighted the need to work together in harmony for the success of the 3rd Assembly.

Speaker Hon. Elisha Oraro, his deputy Nereah Okombo and Clerk Mr. Owen Ojuok reached out to all Members to work together to build on the milestones made by the 2nd Assembly.
